I have this fight of "Golota-Po'uha" from the 1990s, but I forgot about it... It was a gruelling fight that also was dirty, too.... Golota bit Po'uha during a clinch on the shoulder.... WTF??? We all know Golota went on to fight Bowe and Lewis, amongst other good heavies, but what the hell happened to Samson Po'uha???? His career went to hell.... Did he eat his ass outta contention???? Po'uha showed promise early in his career. But he had the same problem as David Tua- he loved the buffet table too much. Always looked fat and out of shape.
Thats the fight they should have recognized Golota needed to be out of boxing. His next incident was headbutting Doc Nicholson. Pouha was never that good. Too fat and lazy.
Po'uha could crack like a mother****er. Golota showed a great chin in this fight actually. He also showed that he CANNOT CLINCH when he's tagged. He prefers to cover and wait or foul. I believe that Golota that could clinch would be significantly better. I believe Po'uha ate his ass out too. Anyway a pleasure to watch Golota's speed and skills back than.
