    Anyway, it's probably Ortiz.

Khan in my view. Maidana is a better fighter than Berto, Berto is one of those gap filling fighters who just happened to have a title.

I think Maidana would spank Ortiz again if they fought too.

pretty one sided result, I cant disagree, ortiz was a underdog moving up and overcame more that night.
Put khan was also very impressive vs maidana, its amazing when you think about what would have happened if they failed, which was very close, some refs would have stopped khan in round 10 when maidana was landing bombs and he was turning his back on him and running the whole round. If he lost his career would have taken a huge blow, he would forever be labled china chinned and would have very difficult troubles getting back on top.
Ortiz as well, if he got stopped in the same round as when he quit vs maidana which was very possible, he was one big punch away from getting stopped before he dropped berto. people would question his heart again and he would seem like a guy thats dangerous but somehow fails to win, and he would not get big fights at 140 or 147 because he would be to high risk low reward. Its really important that they won and they really redeemed themselves, pretty awesome in my opinion.

I actually agree with this too.

Ortiz can't box on the outside like Khan (though he's slightly better mid range and a lot better inside), and he has a really leaky defence.

I think it'll turn into a slugfest like the first fight again after both of them get caught and hurt, and honestly in that situation I think it's Maidana's fight. That being said we don't know how Maidana will perform at 147.

Im a big fan of both...always have been....and even though i didnt think Ortiz deserved the flak he got for the Maidana fight....he redeemed himself big time with this fight....Khan was just out to prove the haters wrong....you cant question his heart....

Ortiz. Was make or break time for him really. People were writing him off already... 1 more loss and that's his career ****ed for the next few years. Instead he beats an undefeated champion at a higher weight and shows grit and heart (which people said he didn't have) to get off the canvas and win the fight pretty easily in the end.

Khan showed that he can take a decent shot. The general consensus was that if Maidana lands something big then it's game over, so fair play to him for showing that he's got heart and a better chin than he's given credit for. Didn't really redeem himself in the way that Ortiz did though, just shut a few doubters up.

To me, Khan proved his chin but proved that i had overrated his skills. I expected him to win by a comfortable TKO.
Ortiz showed so much improvement. He used to fade but this time he kept moving forward. Would love to see a few jabs tho.

Not if the rematch were to happen at 147, at least that's my opinion. :bbb

Ortiz would beat Maidana if they fought again. I think he underestimated Maidana last time out, thought he'd just blow through him. Ortiz is a better boxer, he'd strategise next time, not get into an all out war, outbox his man. Ortiz KO 8. ;) It should happen eventually. Again.. Maidana is really, really overated.

Ortiz will quit again rather than taking a beating
Khan will get his glass jaw shattered again once he meets someone who halfway knows how to time a punch
    so basically none
    Ortiz slightly if at all

The Berto fight did for Ortiz what the Lennox Lewis fight did for Vitali. It did a 180 for his image. Ortiz showed heart, skill, and power in winning a very tough fight.
