    Great fight, awesome comeback. A classic underrated scrap. I agree that this is one of Showtime's best fights. It took place just a year prior to Corrales vs Castillo 1 and I think this fight is just as exciting IMO.

    Fantastic scrap.

    I got to know Ebo and his dad a bit in the amateurs. Really liked them. Very good natured and less combative than so many people you meet in boxing, who think they’re at war with the world.

    They seemed to grasp what I’ve always thought — the coaches and boxers you meet at shows (pro and amateurs) are the people you have the most in common with in the entire world. They understand the blood, sweat and tears. They understand the heartbreak and triumphs. And some of them want to act like you’re the enemy because you happen to be facing each other in a sporting contest, haha.

    Ebo and his pop were good people in my book. Happy to share info and talk about how they trained and wanted to know what kinds of things you did with your guys because they might pick up on something worth trying.

    I had heard that as well about the Ebo being a good guy. I read that he is a minister now and in a good place in life. I couldn't exactly remember what became of him after this particular fight. I remember he lost to Lakva Sim and then he kind of faded away. I'm glad that he seems to be in good health.
