who here does? i sure as hell don't, his antics throughout training camp distracted hatton whether he admits it or not but that's not an excuse why hatton got knocked like he did.what i'm saying is he should've stayed with billy graham because he actually cared about his fighter! the same result would've happened imo but he could've went through training camp normally because when he was with graham they never had problems.now he has mayweather sr. showing up late for every training session, shows up 45 minutes before fight time, then doesn't give a **** that his fighter just got knocked out cold.he was nowhere to be found helping out hatton after the ko or going with him to the dressing room.instead he stays out signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.then he goes on basically disrespecting his fighter saying he should retire n all this(hatton should),when before the fight he was praising him.there's only one fighter floyd would care about if he got knocked out,lil floyd
I think a lot of the Mayweather Sr haters are just mindless sheep following the crowd, giving him a hard time because they 1. can't think for themselves, 2. think it's funny, or 3. they want someone to blame for Hatton losing so badly.or 4. he allegedly looks like a crack addict.
actually i was rooting for pac so you don't know what you're talking about, nobody is making excuses why he lost.i'm saying as a trainer you should actually give a **** about your fighter,he has no class, and that is the truth! i would never put him in my corner, give a **** how good he is.you gotta have some respect for your fighter.you don't just grab your paycheck and bounce,if u do your a classless piece of ****,hence mayweather sr!!!!
Oh right, and you KNOW he doesn't give a **** don't you. Sometimes you get more truth in celebrity gossip mags than you do on this site.
Based on what I've seen I respect him. He seems like a nice guy and is very knowledgeable. It just staggers me that there are now reports that he was paid as an adviser, a mouthpiece and that Lee Beard was predominantly training Hatton for the fight. I would hazard a guess that the Hatton camp didn't show Mayweather the respect he deserved and that this conflict and uncertainty is possibly why he was turning up late etc. Face facts - Hatton didn't follow the game plan that Mayweather talked about, turned to Beard for advice at the end of round 1 and then Mayweather left shortly after the fight (probably in disgust). Team Hatton is to blame here and I don't think Mayweather was ever really accepted as part of that team.
