The first fight against Medina was just an off night for Harrison he did more or less club Medina into submission in the rematch.
Fuxake, we got topdog, topdog88 & you have topdog under your username? WTF:huh Everyones Topdog on here nowadays! Will the real Topdog please stand up?
If, & ONLY if Ricky Burns wins the world title then does this become a live debate. Until then though, everyone just keep their feet on the ground here. Ricky has to win the title first, lets not get ahead of ourselves. Im sure Billy Nelson will be keeping Burns feet firmly on the ground, so now is not the time to get carried away with Burns v Harrison arguments.
Ho Dunky, you KNOW there is only one Top Dog, and that's me, all others are poor imitations of the real thing, man I must be popular right enough, everyone wants to be me:hey Get a life boys, you cant touch this
Don't think this is fair just yet as Ricky ain't nowere near finishing and your talking about 1 of Scotlands greatest ever fighters.. I rated Harrison!! He's the biggest feartherweight I've ever seen in my whole life!! I've heard the legendary stories about how he made weight too!!
Thats nothing. Greg Haugen made weight for the Nave fight by taking speed and trained for Chavez on vodka and coke(Not the drink coke either) I would love to have a beer with that ****er :deal
Harrison for me. Burns is still improving tho where as Harrison probably couldn't improve anymore. Harrison, massive heart, brilliant fitness and strong as an ox due to his size at the weight. A world class boxer would always beat him however. I've always thought this is one of the reasons he lost his way,he knew his limitations on the World scene.
Jesus christ I cant actully believe people are comparing the two. Have people forgot how good Harrison was?? He had 11 world Title fights defended his title 9 times fought and beat some very good fighters, Burns got smashed up by Johanssan and beat soundly by Alex Arthur and has actully beat no one. I still cant get over the fact these two are being compared, Harrison is the only Scottish boxer two win the world title twice, it's a shame his life got out of hand.
Other way round if anything, he took his career for granted and thought he was better than he was and liked to burn the candles at both ends. His party lifestyle got out of hand a few things happened which effected his life different court cases and the suicide of his uncle. But I think If you asked Scott he would be the first to admit that he took his life and reign for granted.
