Scott Harrison broke his opponents hearts you could hit him with your bst shot and there would be no reaction facealy or otherwise,Sctt was huge for the weight and imo should have stepped up to SFW after the medina return or even before,Ricky Burns is loaded with skill, very fast hands and is improving all the time, judgement can be made when Ricky wins the world title and defends it several times.

Aye fair enough bigman. I'm actually hoping Harrison gets out of jail soon, get himself back into and makes himself some cash, and captures a title, you reckon thats too much to ask??

for most people yes,but scott has an exceptional mental strength and if he managed to get his weight down to LW or LWW it could be interesting

Cant see Harrison ever returning to the ring when he gets out, best thing for Scott to do would be help his dad in some capacity with the amateurs, if he could show young fighters to train the way he did and fight the way he did and maybe help them avoid the pitfalls he experienced in the latter stages of his career then he may still have a big part to play in the future of Scottish boxing.

As for Burns, i wish him all the best as he seems a genuine top guy but far too early to compare him with Harrison who won and defended the world title, maybe have this debate in a couple of years time and it may be more intresting.

    Hopefully.

i trained both boys at the same time that would have been some fight if scott had moved up in weight when he should have, when alex and scott sparred which wasn't as often a people may have thought they were good competative spars.

Scott Harrison no doubt. Although i think Ricky Burns is a better technical boxer. If he had more pop in his punches then he could go a lot further than he will.

You hit the nail on the head there Mr Nelson.

A fight that springs to mind was when Harrison fought skinny Hussein, Hussein lands one of his trademark bodyshots & you can see he thinks Harrison is gonna drop, Harrison takes it, gives him a steely stare and goes after Hussein, you could almost see in Skinnys body language that he knew the game was up!
& To think that was a Harrison that wasnt even performing to his best, even a Harrison who was going through his troubles was able to eat up anything his opponents hit him with without much trouble.

aah the memories. If only he had got Guzman... Im still sure to this day he would have exposed Guzman, long before Funeka did.
I would love to hear your thoughts on Harrison-Guzman Billy, & what Scotty thought of him:deal

Scott Harrison was a monster. He was a brute in the ring, he could box a bit as well. He would smash Burns to pieces, literally. Actually why are we having this discussion. Harrison and Burns are worlds apart and always will be.

your being very disrespectful about the talent rickys got don, scott is the best fighter scotland as ever produced so far including watt and buchanan but do give ricky his chance mate.scott would have slaughtered guzman coz guzman would have stood in front of him and went for it.
