Why lump Pea in with Jones?

i accidentally (or intentionally) hit the pacquiao button to mess with you. ;)

what if pac beats floyd or any top welter like shane or cotto, do you think it is still delusional for pac to be compared to someone as great as pea?

Its not as lopsided as some would think. Its clearly Pea right now, but lets say Pac beats Mosley and Mayweather. I think he'd have a good argument. I mean that would be what 6 ATG's he's beaten. Barrera, Morales, Marquez, DLH, Mayweather, Mosley.

Sticking to his strength = sitting on his ass? and after the fight he was upset saying he felt he won the fight. Sweet Pea was past his prime but that is still no excuse for just sitting down.

You are correct nobody came close to dominating Whitaker, he was the most elusive fighter. But that **** he pulled against Tito really put thing in perspective.

No... that would be legendary **** considering were Pac started.... Id put him in my top 10 if he beat Mayweather, top 15 if he beat Cotto or Mosely.

Here is the thing. Posters have Pac as greater now, and if Pac were to beat Floyd, they would say he is miles ahead of Sweetpea lol... The sick thought of that just shows that today's dfans have no sense of history. But then again, as great as this site is, polls are always won by punchers/aggressive fighters on this forum. One fan mentions Pea dodging punches from Tito while sitting down in the 12th as a detriment towards Pea lol...

The greatest of warriors do the strangest of things when their body no longer does what the head tells it.

Ali v Holmes & Arguello v Pryor II come to mind.... doesnt take away what they were at their best tho.

If Pac does that he moves ahead of Whitaker without a doubt.

If Pac fights any of those guys at catch weights, he doesn't belong in the top 30 maybe lower. Pac never dominated Marquez, he fought a past it Barrera and Morales, and after that, Pac's comp is a whose who of guys.

Whitaker is the greater fighter at the moment. Sweet Pea will always be the more skilled boxer but if Pac continues to string together some more massive wins then he'll pass him out resume wise.
