    Also molests marine life.

One prediction right. Well done. You only do about 10 a week. Sturm won. Happy for him. Gets a lot of unfair press. It's of my opinion that if Darren was fit he would of won.

Im only having a laugh Joe, calm down my friend. Lots of others were even more certain than you Darren would win.
The entire Sky team including multiple world champions picked Darren.
7 out of 8 staff members of a well-known boxing website on the boxing 'scene' picked Darren.
Any number of supposedly knowledgeable posters on here did too.
So you are not alone my friend.
But any version of Felix beats any version of Darren.
    No hard feelings!

Barker won't fight again and sold his title, that much I'm sure of. What I'm less sure of is Sturm to do the right thing and fight worthy challengers. Macklin deserves a rematch in the UK and Felix claimed he was willing to come over although I could see why he has concerns after recent fights. At his age does he have the hunger chase unification fights? Quillin perhaps? We all know he isn't sharing a ring with GGG anytime soon.

Felix is a proud and honourable man. He will definitely feel he has " unfinished business" with several opponents..Macklin, Geale, Soliman. He knows Macklin did beat him fair and square and it rankles. He knows too that he was robbed against Geale.
Then there is the ( admittedly fading) possibility of a big and easy payday via a Barker rematch.
As regards Quillin, I would pick him to beat Quillin, but would Quillin go to Germany?
    Who knows?

    God, what a sad case.

The fight hardly went according to anyone's plans - Barker clearly went in with an injury so it wasn't a particularly revealing fight either way.

So if he fights some ranked no hoper you'll give him stick for not fighting one of our previously mentioned opponents?

Thank you Winston. You just made my point for me.
Does the irony of what you typed not register with you at all?
"Nice guy" Darren and "Fast Car" Eddie took the loyal fans for a ride Winston............:deal

Why should I give a great champion and great human being like Sturm "stick" Sugar? Im just delighted he is back on top where he belongs.
Yes, I would like him to rematch Macklin definitely, (who was robbed) and Geale and Soliman less so, but many factors could prevent these fights from happening. Lets wait and see.

There's no irony there whatsoever - I suggest you look up what irony is.

The question of whether Barker went in with such a debilitating injury, knowing full well he couldn't win, is a valid question, but completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. You're boasting that you predicted the winner, well, no one predicted Barker would be so incapacitated because of his hip.

Well thank you for acknowledging that I'm raising a valid question regarding the injury.
I always said any version of Felix beats any version of Darren and Im sticking to that opinion.
As regards my boasting, well I dont get paid for this, so would you deny me the small pleasure of a little boast now and then? Surely a bit of tasteless gloating is a small price to pay for my insightful analysis?

ps What is "irony" anyway, since you seem to know? Cheers.

If that's the case then I think you need to get a life.
