yeah, but this fight was huge, and freddy could've lost a lot of creds if the fight would've even went to a decision.....the man even told manny not to pay him if he didnt win.....

my favorite part was when he was talking about oscar blaming him for the floyd part, and then freddy says "well now he's gonna blame me for this loss too" ****en classic **** !!!

Roach and Hopkins are a bad mix anyhow. Roach likes to be the smart one in the corner, and so does Bernard. Just a bad style composition. Richardson, Jackson, and Hopkins together are perfect.

Pavlik had Bronchitis...so that win in my mind was great for Hopkins age...but cmon now...WE ALL KNOW PAVLIK DOESNT BELONG ANYWHERE 160+...and the man had Bronchitis. SO no...I don't think that was because Hopkins teamed back up with Nazim

If you watch the first half...No one would've thought Calzaghe could be controlled like this. And he was and even got a great KD in the beginning of the fight.

Hopkins is just too old to take on a high octance and quick footed fighter like Calzaghe...had he been younger I think Hopkins could've taken it

    Bronchitis, bronchitis.... blah blah blah..

Stop kidding yourself, Hopkins smacked him around big time, looked to have a great time in there and Pavlik didn't win one second of one round

"Too old to take on a fighter like Calzaghe"

What rock have you been hiding under? He took on Calzaghe and fought to a razor sharp decision loss.:lol::lol::lol:

He kept saying "I just couldn't get off"...he looked slow and sluggish. That was most likely the Bronchitis.

I'm not implying that Pavlik would've won...but he sure would've landed some flush shots and been a bit quicker had be been in full health...

Seeing as how you've probably never experienced what's its like to have Bronchitis or a Bronchial infection...or simply asthma...then I don't think you understand how hard it is to before under those sort of circumstances

Look man...I'm not trying to knock on B-Hop...the man is a genius. But you have to be in utter ****in' denial if you think he didn't fake or exaggerate those low blows...which clearly shows he's getting older.

I wouldn't call it razor sharp either. Calzaghe made squeaked and slapped his way to a messy decision victory.

At the end of the day it wasn't bronchitis that beat Pavlik, it was Hopkins.
He gave him different looks, different angles let his hands go when Pavlik simply could not set his feet to trade it out.

It was not even hard for Hopkins.
I mean, Hopkins.. quite honestly, wins 100/100 fights, 95/100 rounds with ease against Pavlik.
