In one fight, where he was vs. a very skilled, faster and younger opponent, he opted to quickly brawl and neglect defense. Very wise. Had Golovkin opted to box the fight would have gone longer with a greater chance of a decision. So he hurt his man badly to the body and broke his eye socket instead and took a few punches during the process showing the ability to cut off the ring. Also showing the ability to mentally and physically take a punch.

    This proves he's smart.

In most other fights, he has a defense when he wants to use it.

As they say, the film doesn't have an agenda. View below to get an idea of GGG's defense:

He didn't let Lemieux tee off on him so he knows who to do that **** with. He is a 35 year old fighter with at least 15 years of fight experience, he knows what to do and he knows who not to fight.

those who have actually watched his fights and know what theyre seeing already know hes got skills. he competed with and beat, on multiple occasions, all the best amateurs in the world. hes not just some come forward smasher, hes seen it all... and beat it.
able is doing a tremendous job preparing golovkin for his fights.

Golovkin's jab is an ATG thing of beauty.

Well, GGG's 34 until next April 2017. But a decline in boxing has a lot to do with the amount of punishment taken in the ring. GGG hasn't taken a beating, so in boxing terms, he's more like 33.

His opponents, however, take a hellacious beating. That hook to the body can take the wind out of anyone's sails. As for who not to fight, he’s up for Canelo and anyone. Fighters duck GGG. Canelo is the runner here.
