Just like Vitali came to the British Isles and used his Iron fist to massacre Herbie Hide and his WBO belt, I am afraid to say I see a similar beat-down by Kessler on Calzaghe. What do others think about the kind of beat-down Calzaghe will recieve? (e.g a career ending)

Not at all. Vitali and Hide were relative no ones. Calzaghe is a long reigning champ who is P4P. Kessler is the first linear champ at 168. This fight is huge. Whoever loses is still a top fighter, he just lost. Both are proven prior to this mega fight. Only if one of them get dominated will the other be hated on, albeit wrongly.
I agree with your point here. Both are great fighters no matter what the outcome...however with the age factor, I see a Calzaghe ass-whopping a bad thing for his health...basically there won't be a rematch.
