Who shot Kovalev then? It was Ward all along, wasn't it?

Since based off my previous thread it is a unanimous vote that Kovalev ' been shot for years' how did Kovalev get shot....

As IVE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS it was Andre Ward who took him out back and shot him in the back of the head execution style...

Fighters that Ward has shot and ruined forever:

    Kessler (Ward was big underdog)
    Dawson
Kovalev (again Ward was big underdog)

From the rumours I've heard, it was Father Time and Captain Smirnoff that took care of Kovalev.

Ward put the hurt on Kov’s balls for sure. The feather fisted Ward could only hurt Kov with low blows, elbows, you know, illegal stuff. Okay, not 100%, some of the legit shots that were set up by the illegal punches did damage but his below the belt line “body shots” did the most damage in the second fight. I’m sure Kov’s balls have never recovered.

Both fights with Andre Ward took a LOT out of him.

I mean, Kovalev won the first fight, so no not really. What's slowed Kovalev down is age and seemingly not living the right life between fights. He's always been weak to the body and Ward was clever enough to exploit that in their rematch. It's not like Ward was dominating that fight either, I think most had Kovalev up at the time of stoppage. Ward did land a tremendous body shot in that fight which folded Kovalev but no way did that one shot make him 'shot'. Bad training and generally getting older have done that.

Besides, he isn't shot. He's beyond his peak time for sure but if he was shot he'd have probably got battered by Yarde. He's struggling to compete at the level he was at, not losing at a level below the one he was at. That's the difference for me.

Kessler beat Froch right after he lost to Ward. Dawson became shot because he drained himself to a zombie. Kovalev is not shot, he just slowed down due to age and lifestyle, he also beat Ward in the first fight.

    Another garbage thread from you.

    Go away, man

He was already on a decline when he fought Ward the first time.
3 more years, 6 more fights later he’s simply worn out.
