There has been talk of Abraham having his first fight on HBO next year vs a contender as a build up to a fight with Pavlik in the USA . Who do guys think he should fight?

Fulgencio Zuniga, John Duddy, Sergio Mora, Winky Wright (but I don't expect Winky to take such a fight), Giovanni Lorenzo, Felix Sturm...

I like the idea of Abraham fighting Zuniga who style wise mush well with Abraham in a fight, Also Pavlik has fought Zuniga in a tough fight so then could compare Pavlik and Abraham on how they did vs Zuniga.
Mora is good opponent too sence he well known in USA.

I wonder if Winky will take lower pay at this point in career he seems very greedy and does not get that he is a boring fighter that few want to see

    Zuniga...too risky
    Duddy...title shot 4 Duddy
Mora...good hype fight with moderate risk
    Winky...Abraham would duck him
Lorenzo...can't comment, never seen him in action
Sturm...this would be a good Euro unification match...they should make this, then winner fights Pavlik

BTW, Taylor vs Duddy would be a helluva brawl on the indercard!

Lorenzo? He's not well known enough to make a big fight for Abraham. Zuniga can't make 160 anymore. Duddy would be the best fight I can think of.

I agree with that, Lorenzo is the prospect Arthur could add to his resume and be the great equalizer for Abraham's case in the 160-pound division and concerning short parallels to Pavlik and Sturm. Furthermore, Abraham has the Miranda fight experience to build up his game-plan against the Dominican.

Another name to throw out there would be Raul Marquez, who's been taking the Shannon Briggs route to getting another title shot, and who is a bigger name than half the guys mentioned above.

Abraham should fight Pavlik, beat the **** out of him and move on to a real challenges like Wright, Taylor or Bhop.....a figth with Sturm will also be nice.

Lee, Griffin and Lorenzo are intriguing and definately worth HBO time.

Fighting Pavlik is a waste because Abraham defense will nullify that BS "jab, jab, right hand" routine that Pavlik does. When Casper learns how to move his head, get decent footwork and garner the phucking concept of defense, let me know.
