Obviously he needs better defense and work on the basics likes clinching his opponents, listening to instructions of his trainer, taking a full 8 count before he get's back up from knockdowns and so on... But I do believe he has some left in the tank and will be world champion IF matched carefully. Which leads me to my question, who should Amir Khan face next and why?
If it ain't Brook, then nothing else really makes sense. Garcia will move his career on, why would he risk giving Khan a rematch? Doesn't make sense especially after he knocked the guy out.
Malignaggi is the only guy who he beats for sure, the others are a real threat, when he goes to 147 he won't enjoy his length advantage, IMO Khan is in real trouble.
Totally agree, but money talks and Khan will probably offer him more $ than any other fighter. Let's see if Danny Garcia will turn down what can be 1million dollar contract, 50/50 split in the UK similar to what Khan offered Lamont Peterson. Personally I think Danny Garcia shouldnt give him a rematch just yet until he proves himself down the line.
Khan's career will be over the second he steps in the ring.. if he fights again, it will be his last fight of his career unless he fights someone with no power.. there aren't many like that out there
i said other. he should face the mirror next and take a serious look at his skill set to realize the changes he needs to make in order to take the next step in his career. he is seriously flawed on defense and needs to go back to school. what he needs to learn can't happen in an 8 week camp.
Why not? Big Money against a guy he has already destroyed. Its not like he can make more money with some else, plus he already has Khan figured out.
