In Amir's own words he said that this fight was the first in a while that he didn't really struggle to make weight. He's usually top side of 140 a couple of days before a fight so to make 135 would, imo, be too much to ask and to do this he'd probably be MORE likely to suffer a KO due to running the risk of being weight drained.

Prescott, to be fair, isn't a bad shout in the short term. He is clearly in decline and (should in theory) be a pretty straight forward fight for Khan. Also, it could be a pretty decent payday as the marketing is already there for it (REDEMPTION)

No money fights and making weight would be a right pain in the arse

why not rematch Prescott? Khan's career is in the shitter and he can try and avenge his brutal and embarrassing KO.

I don't think Khan want to risk fighting against a brutal puncher like Prescott at this point. He needs time to work on his defense first.

I really hope not. I think Khan will fight a good fighter because of money and pride. He's fighting back home so I expect a treat for his fans in the UK.

I'd be shocked if it did! Can't see Khan risking that. A loss there WOULD be the very end

If he can't get by Prescott now then he is toast. Should be an easy win.

Medium risk, high reward fight to avenge one of his losses. No brainer fight to make next IMO
