Who should Anthony Joshua fight in December?

He's been training to fight southpaws for a year and a half now, he'd be smart to take on Wallin

 

AJ would outbox Bakole with ease, he's the slowest moving plodder I think I've ever seen

 

Chisora. By a mile.

 

Against anyone who doesn't pose a greater threat...

 

Joshua’s problems are not physical it’s the mental side of his game,now he’s back among the contenders the pressure is off and he needs a few fights that are going to help with his confidence before stepping up again. Joshua needs to rebuild and Hearn also knows this so it’s going to be interesting to see who he does fight next .

 

Agreed Joshua’s biggest problem is his mindset .

 

Why is David Allen in this poll?

 

IMO, in this order:
1. Hrgovic
2. D. White
3. Dubois
4. Kabayel
5. Wallin
6. Zhang

 

I want to see an appealing fight, he shouldn't take a huge step down in quality of opponent. They will go the safe route though, aka Whyte or Chisora. From that list, I'd like to see a Miller, Bakole, or Zhang fights. I don't see any of them happening, Zheng a powerful southpaw def not happening. I think Hrgovic is a good opponent with the size to be a challenge and still offer preparation to AJ for the other huge HW's like Fury in Wilder down the lline.

 

Zhang is winning this poll? He had a few good rounds against hrgovic and then clearly ran out of gas. AJ would smoke him. Or maybe that's why he's winning this poll? He'd be an easy confidence builder.

 

Hrgovic wants to rematch Zhang, so it won't be him. My bet would be either Joyce or Chisora.

 

Zhang Zhelei would be interesting but would probably get obliterated.
