    Dychko would be a challenge.

Jalolov is far above anybody Dychko has fought since turing pro. Nobody even knows if Dychko can go 4 rounds without gassing. Dychko needs to fight much better opponents than he has been getting, but going straight to Jalolov from the likes of Denis Bahktov would be foolish.

Dychko is far above anyone Jalalov has fought as a pro, works both ways.

And you are basing that on...what exactly?

Certainly not any opponent he has fought yet in the pro ranks.

I'll ignore your personal attack this time.

I am simply stating that Dychko takes a risk fighting Jalolov right now because Jalolov is a very large step up from the levels of the fighters that Dychko has been fighting. In the past year, Dychko has only fought Denis Bakhtov (who has not been useful since about 2013) and Alexander Ustinov - who seems incapable of fighting more than one round (Sirenko finished off Ustinov in 70 seconds). I think it would be better if Dychko first has one (just one) fight against a fighter like Johnnie Rice - who is much better than anybody Dychko has yet faced, and is quite similar to Jack Mulowayi in several ways. Rice made it to Rd 7 with Makhmudov, so it is likely he is up to a bit of punishment if Dychko delivers it.

If Dychko's management can make this fight...fine....but I think Jalolov is far readier for it than Dychko. That belief is simply based on the poor level of Dychko's pro opposition so far. This is not Dychko's fault.

most everyone jalalov has fought has been useless. Jalalov has done nothing to this point to be ahead of Dychko. It is sad promoters are letting Dychko and others wilt on the vine, but it is a dying sport.

I certainly agree that the poor quality of Dychko's opponents is not the fault of Dychko. He has a very limited promotions team behind him.

I was hoping signing a co-promotion agreement with Probellum would help Dychko (and others) receive better fights - but Probellum fighters are facing sanctions. So yet again Dychko's career is being thwarted.

Yes, but Boxrec also has Dereck Chisora at #9 while only rating Filip Hrgovic at #38. Their algorithm rewards boxers who have recent activity against highly-ranked boxers and Chisora has UD losses against Parker (x2) and Usyk (the #1 Boxrec-ranked HW) in the past 18 months.

So Boxrec rankings aren't really a reliable indicator of relative abilities. They are definitely not useful as a match-making tool.

Dychko is his amateur daddy isn't he?

Might be some interest there but a risky fight he doesn't have to take.

    Who has Dychko now?

I thought it was some low level bloke from Florida.

He hasn't been handled well. I think he would jump at it but the Big Uzbek is the A-Side for sure.

Both are Olympic medalists. Both are huge. Both have faced similar pro competition. Dychko has a crappy promoter, Jalalov is getting backing from showtime. That is the biggest difference. Dychko is hardly the first Eastern European to get iced out by promoters lack of interest.
