Hatton was a p4p fighter at the time???
I know he cant be a p4p fighter after having struggled with Lazcano and beat the great Malignaggi.

Cotto also had just come off a controversial victory so yes he was p4p but not very high.

so he should have gone 1-1 this year. How the hell could u vote for him?
Im a huge JMM fan and i know he sure as hell does not deserve to be in this conversation.
He has about as much right as PW does to be on that poll.

Pac, and Andre Ward is the runner up. The Kessler fight was outstanding, and wins over Buchanan and Miranda are very strong as well.

Any answer other than Pac is just unacceptable. Moving up in weight to 140 and 147 and dominating the best guys in both weight divisions.. no one else has the credentials as Pac did this year. Before this year, Pac was already one of the best but this year truly catapulted him to superstar status with the casual sports audience.

Should've just made a poll for 2nd place. It would've been more interesting.

"Shot" was actually a nice way of putting it. Those who didn't recognize it beforehand simply aren't keen observers. Freddie Roach is an extremely keen observer. See where I'm going with this? Neither fighter has been relevant for years in the eyes of those who know more than a small handfull of fighters. If Pacquiao dominates Clottey in the same fashion I'll eat my words.

Floyd "Avoid" should be on the list.:D

Pacman is great but he couldn't beat Marques convincingly. Only Avoid did it.:D

There could be "twists" for anyone else on the list to help with discrediting their wins as well....like you did with PAC. Peterson for Tim was a pretty "GREEN" fighter...no real experience on the level of Tim Bradly...Nate...he's as old as Jesus...Holt? Who has holt beat? David Diaz....Urango...nuff said.

I could do the others as well but you get my point.
