Valuev has a real good jab & more than enough power to KO Haye, who's used to being the larger man in the ring. I can't wait for his (re)debut at HW as long as it's against a true contender. The winner of Rahman vs. Toney would do for starters. Both have a fair chance to KO Haye & both are old and slow enough to lose as well.
i really don't wanna see him fight dimentrenko as i don't wanna see either of them lose at this point. i'd rather him fighting ibragimov
I would go for one out of Rahman/Toney winner, Arreola, Dimitrenko, Maskaev, Kali Meehan, Eddie Chambers or Golota. All of those guys have a top ten ranking with one or more of the boxing orgs.
Because Haye had punched himself out and could barely keep his hands up anymore. He never used to train properly in those days so his conditioning was **** and he threw every punch in the book at Thompson and was so tired he couldn't lift his hands.
Shannon Briggs, he's extremely Heavy handed early in fights and could test Haye's weak chin early, if he can take Shannon's best shots, he may have a better chin than some of us think.
Wow, you Haye fans are full of excuses. How about: Haye was getting his ass kicked, and his corner did the responsible thing and prevented him from taking anymore unnecessary punishment from a 40 year old man who would inevitably knock him out cold.
But Briggs hasn't fought in over a year, and isn't ranked in anyone's top ten...it would seem to be a pointless fight for Haye to take since he wants that title shot with Wlad.
I swear this has been explained to you so many times before but you still don't get it. Yes Haye got hurt and was in trouble but this was mainly due to fatigue. Go watch the fight properly and learn the difference between throwing in the towel and KTFO.

Haye never used to train properly, he was a party boy. He beat the **** out of Thompson for a few rounds, one of the most one sided beatings you'll ever see. But then he got very tired and Thompson came on strong. As Haye says, that fight was the best thing to happen to him as he started training properly and dedicated himself to boxing. He's unrecognisable now from the guy that fought then.
