Not sure who'll be next but I'd be very surprised if we don't see Brook vs Smith in 2018

You can tell Hearn is eyeing the route for the title against beefy for a “domestic showdown” with eggerton and khan in the mix
And is a winnable fight for brook

He may not have more then 3 fights in him ... can’t see him going against Charlo Lara etc

    Bit of a risk, no?
A really good fight but Kamegai can take it, and he can give back some. Next thing you know, we have another Berto vs Soto Karas if front of us.

Well, challenging Sadam Ali for his strap would still be a relatively soft route to becoming a two-weight titlist, but it's a more interesting clash of styles than Brook-Smith, so I'd be a bit more enthused about seeing it.

With the benefit of hindsight, perhaps Brook might wish he'd vacated his IBF title and taken a longer break after the Golovkin fight, before going after Cotto at 154. He'd likely be a two-weight titlist by now and would have a very attractive name on his résumé.

I wouldn’t, hearn promotes brook smith is promoted by warren.

also for his next opponent I would go with Jesús Soto Karas.
