I agree this thread should be on the classic forum because of name recognition . . . who is this Calslappy fella . . . did he box? if he did he must have only fought in his region and fighters who only made their names in that region. Now Dick Tiger . . . that was a REAL Fighter with WORLD class SKILL!

 

tiger was amazing. middleweight champion, light heavy champion as his resume was outstanding as mcgrain pointed out. he could be outboxed, as happens when you consistently fight world class opposition. a serious contender for stronger middleweight of all time and certainly one of the toughest, he could box when he had to as against fullmer and used his talents to his fullest advantage.
