The clear choice is Ward, but not sure Ward wants that fight right now, or atleast those around him do not want him risking his new p4p status with Lucian.
Bute should fight Carl next, but the cobra would want it in Nottingham. That's never going to happen and shouldn't. I'd say andre dirrell needs to take a trip to montreal and get Ko'd, so ward won't have an excuse to keep ducking Bute.
That idea alone means that only Froch & Kessler qualify as Ward's next opponent. Froch isn't fighting again before the summer according to Eddie Hearn, and Kessler is fighting Stieglitz in April. Good stuff.
