Assuming Calzaghe keeps on winning and his motivation/hands allow him another 4 fights after Roy Jones to get to 50 and 0,who should they be against ? {to help increase his legacy} 1} Hopkins rematch {Bernard ATG} 2} Dawson {27-0, IBF/IBO champ} 3} Froch {23-0, about to fight for WBC s/m title, would have to step up in weight, big domestic fight} 4} Then lastly whoever is top man in 2 years time at Lightheavy possibly Diaconu current WBC holder 25-0 or Erdei current WBO holder 29-0 Give me your 4 match ups post Roy Jones Jr
I doubt he could get to 50-0 when rematching Hopkins, he was VERY lucky to get the nod in their first fight. And before anyone starts giving me **** for my opinion, that's what Calzaghe thinks himself, just have a look at the article on the front page.
That's Roy Jones not RJ,if RJ comes in the ring that night Calzaghe is in trouble.Roy Jones is been showing up at the fights and he is shot.RJ hasn't showed up for 5-6 years, but if he shows up Calzaghe will lose his 0.Sadly RJ is probably dead, his alter ego Roy Jones is fighting, and he is shot
This really annoys me, just because Calzaghe isnt the biggest puncher in the world. very few boxers in history have had everything, speed, strength, size, power, stamina etc. Just imagine if joe could punch with the power of pavlik, he would be one of the best fighters in history of the sport. As it is, he has speed, movement, boxing brain and courage, which makes him a pretty good boxer in my book.
lol ur your an idiot. calzaghe won the fight clearly and you must be blind as a bat not to see that, it was only because of the biased us judges it was even an sd.
I think these haters are judging the entire 12 rds based on rds 1-5 or so, Once Joe adjusted to Hopkins tactics, he clearly won,,,there were times even, where Hopkins couldn't find his own corner after the bell:hi:
He is doing exactly what he should be doing. He fought a great fighter, Hopkins, and got took to an SD. That was too close for Joe's liking. So now he is going back to his 1997-2006 tactics, and fighting people who have no chance of beating him (Jones). He'll get there.
