He is not getting to 50 no way. After RJJ its game over, unless he decides to have one last fight in cardiff, and if that happens I don't know who he will fight.

I think he will retire right after Roy Jones. But then, 6 months later, if a big match becomes possible, he could come out of his retirement. So, those fighters who want to fight Calzaghe have until next month of May to become superstars. Bute should KO Andrade, then KO Kessler and/or Taylor to do it. Kessler should beat Taylor and maybe Dawson. Dawson should beat Hopkins and Kessler. Less than that, there is no chance to make Calzaghe come back to boxing. The guy's hands are kaput. He's done what he wanted and won't take a chance to lose his 0 if it's not a megafight, and there is nobody with enough standing to do that now.

At most, Joe will fight one more time after the Jones, Jr. match-up. And I don't even know if he'll do that. He's not going to fight 4 more times after he meets up with Roy.

As such, he'll never have the chance to get to 50-0, I think.

Calzaghe I think wants to retire after Jones and I think he will stay retired and I remember Calzaghe saying something about not even wanting to go towards Rocky's record. Which doesn't even make sense because he is not a Heavyweight.

i don't get where everyone keeps saying that Calzaghe was lucky to get by Hopkins. I scored the fight 116-111 (9-3). Hopkins started well and Calzaghe adjusted and soundly won 2/3 of the fight.

I had Cal winning by 3 rounds. There were a fair few shared rounds in my opinion.

I think he'll have one last fight in Cardiff and then retire. Hopkins would be the obvious choice, and the fight I'd like him to take but I think he'll duck him. Dawson my second pick, but again, too risky to his '0'. If the fight with RJJ is reasonably close, then maybe a rematch? Seems like the biggest potential money spinner to me, with the lowest risk.

I definitely think Joe isn't done. he has maybe 1-2 more fights left in him after the Roy Jones fight. Joe is a huge competitor and i think he'll have trouble hanging them up. Calz will dominate Roy and if Jones lays on the rope, The Iralian Dragon will stop him. no doubt.
