    PW!
If PW doesnt fight anyone for a while and just talks as usual about Margarito then Cotto should jump in there with him and end his hype.

People like to talk about styles around here and Cottos style is terrible frow PW. Think of Cotto just going to PW's body. I think one good left hook would break him. Cotto has more skill than PW. So Pw aint gonna outbox Cotto.
If he fights PW and beat him Cotto would have ultimate redemption. Beat the man tht beat you and set up a huge Margarito-Cotto rematch. between the number 1 and 2 WWs. Also the winner of that would probably be #1 p4p. That is if Margarito gets past Clottey.

Great, Williams has a fight in September and date open for Nov. with no opponent. All Top Rank has to do is call Goosen and make the fight. I'm pretty sure Cotto and Top Rank would love that fight.

I agree with Reg, IMO I don't think we will ever see Cotto versus Williams. Top Rank would never let it happen.

I agree with most of your post. However I think his only weakness is his defense. His defense is just ok. It is not top level defense and that is what he truly needs.
I have been saying this for years and Cotto needs to get Mayweather Sr. in his corner. That man is the defense guru.

Hell yea Cotto would either outbox PW for 12 rounds or Ko him with a body shot. Imagine the left hook he landed on Quintana towards the end of the fight. PW's ribs would probably break.

Baldomir has expressed interest in fighting Cotto.

Baldomir would be the perfect opponent for a come back fight. Cotto might decide to just box him though because of Baldomir's solid chin and I would like to see the aggressive Cotto come back.

:huh that's a horrible idea!! but PW is even worse :patsch. I think Cotto is capable of beating both, but first he has to prove that he is atleast as good as he had been prior the Margo disaster.

I agree with what you say, but we have to let Cotto have a safer fight than that. Maybe early 2009.

Cintron would be the best come back fight out of those choices.

He should fight Cintron he will get no credit for it, but its a better win IMO than a win over the limited Baldimor atleast Cintron has a punchers chance and Cotto will be in danger until he stops him or decisions him.

What better way to do that than to fight James Kirkland or Paul Williams? Many people on here think he'll steamroll through either one of them. Why not make the fight if they're both such easy opposition for Cotto?

I like the Cintron fight too. Good fight for Miguel, but this is boxing and there's no easy fights. Hope he can come back well from his loss to Antonio, i thought they both won that night, both great fighters.

Baldomir is high risk, low reward, but I picked that one because it's a fight I'd like to see

when i mentioned the other day that shoul hatton perform well against mali would a fight with cotto be a viable battle, as in a fight that would be of interest it was met with ridicule, as if hatton shoul be nowhere near the same ring.
then 2 days later someone mentions baldomir and its described as a good tune up fight, a fight that would capture the imagination.
what the **** is everyone on ? either its a unreasonable nationalistic reaction against all things british , or people are clueless.
