who should DANNY GREEN fight next?

Kirk, Briggs is coming off a 3 year retirement for health reasons with no lead in fights.Green will flog him.hope im wrong and Paul hammers him.

i can still see the Hopkins fight though didnt BHop cancel that or something? - if he wanted a title shot im sure guys like Cunningham would jump at goin to Australia to face him.

sounds like hes got a decent career goin down there and might not see a reason yet to challenge himself.

Last year, this would have been a very risky fight..... BUT~!! It's not the case now... He (Steve) is signed with Sauerland.. So if this fight were to be made, that whole card would be a big card... Cause you know when there are big fights in Germany, they stack their cards up... ALSO, Cruiserweight Division is big in Europe.. Bigger there than it is in the US... The best Cruiserweight is promoted by a German, the next best Cruiser is based in Germany, the best prospects (Hernendez, Alexeev, Frenkel, Licina) Live, fight or are based in Germany. So in essence, it's not a high risk- low reward situation. He's money in Australia.. If he were to beat Cunningham in Germany (which I don't see happening) he could become big money there as well...

If he's looking for a big fight at home OR in the states, he better take Antonio Tarver... To me, that's his only shot at a pretty good payday right now... Pay day AND nationwide television....

Gee i hope Paul Briggs can come in at least 90% of his best............. 3yrs out of the ring is a tough ask, at his best i'd have Briggs stopping Green in the 11th rd. Unfortunately it might be the other way around in 2010.

Chad Dawsons not a big name but 5 fights in 5 years last at MW Siaca is and dragging 3 years retired with health problems Paul Briggs is.face it Buster Green isnt fighting anyone with a pulse anytime soon.

 

oh and Dawson is fighting Pascal for the LHW IBO/WBC belt and im not sure but i think for the ring belt.bit better than a 3 year retired with health problems Briggs.

 

Would like to see him step up, but do not expect to see any more geuine big names on Danny's resume. Pretty sure he's just taking the easy money/lots of hype fights from now on, but would like to be proven wrong. Hope the Briggs fight is a war! Probably going for Briggs but hard to say what his form will be like after the layoff.
