I think it's kind of stupid Wilder hasn't gotten himself another fight yet. It's been over a year since his last fight, he's not getting a shot at Fury until mid next year if it even happens.

He may be fighting Ruiz late this year.

I think he should be keeping himself active.

He should be fighting someone in the mean time.

I think Wilder first needs to decide if he will ever fight again, before worrying about who a potential opponent is.

I think there is a 50/50 chance that Fury retired him.

The winner of Whyte vs Povetkin butbhe won't as both can pack a punch.

I'd be surprised to see him fight Ruiz or Hunter as well.

Best we can hope for is Martin realistically. If Wilder is able to beat Martin then I think he will fight the winner of Helenius and Kownacki.

I'm guessing he'll go back to fighting bums and try to safely weasel his way into one last title shot/big pay day. I'd love to see him fight Ruiz or Usyk relatively soon, but he won't risk it. It's a shame too, cause i think those would be great fights.

Deontay will enjoy the his step aside money with the bomb squad, and bring out a top 50 journeyman for a tune up when he's ready to do so. The rest is none of your concern.

This. If Tony Yoka can get passed Helenius he should fight Wilder. Wilder is technically poor but he has immense power. If Yoka can beat him that proved he could probably hang at world level as even Ortiz couldn't beat Wilder but if he looses its clear he's not ready for the top heavyweights, inversely if Wilder wins it means he has a win over an Olympic Gold Medalist and his career might not be over, but if he looses then yeah it shows how trash he really is.
