Toney didn't punch so well for the weight and Mayorga well, he's Mayorga.

Smith is not a world level puncher at all!
Groves literally had one arm (Smith's signature win)

Smith can absolutely crack. I promise you that Angulo would get brutally stopped if that happened. Like CST said he should fight Chavez Jr for a cash out fight or rematch Mora. Also rematching Quillin is an option if they'd pay him the right money, he's favored in that fight again, so he would take it. I don't want to see Angulo fight any of the Champs. Benavidez would brutally stop him, and Smith would kill him.

Seriously by the time they went to mma, they were no where near world level, they were Top 100 in their Division generously because they were legends. They were literally shells of themselves, both were robbed of money & desperate for fast cash.

:deal: What the **** is wrong with people? The phrase stay in your lane exists for a reason. Not everyone in the sport of boxing is there to climb the ladder to a belt, belts mean **** all at a certain point in a fighters career. Making money and putting on a show, leaving a legacy of entertaining fights, at their current level should matter far more. Which brings me back to what we were discussing a few years back about the tournament of has beens and how damn fun that would be. Hell. I'm over the moon pumped for Molina Jr. vs. Josesito. Not everything has to be the A-side main event. There's an undercard for a reason, partially to build new stars, and partly to put on barnburners to keep the fans interested until the main event. And they get far too little love from fans due to this, but.. but... but... titles and when is he going to step up bull****. The answer in some cases is, never. Angulo, Quillin, Chavez Jr. and Mora need to find their lane, and stay in it, and then maybe we could get more FOTY type candidates like we did last night.

Agreed with this 100%. I'm excited for Josesito and Molina jr too(I probably favor Josesito, but I'm a bigger Molina fan), and I was pumped for Rios and Victor Ortiz jr back in the day too. A fight with Smith would just end Perro's career and give him bad brain damage, he could have some cash out fights like Quillin, Chavez Jr, Mora etc.

Smith couldn't hurt Holtzken who has an old arthritis body. I hope it happens, it's
Cool when different fighters over seas. My only concern is if Smith is packing a glass jaw! Haven't really seen him against A-level power (Angulo is ancient I admit)

I doubt he's packing glass. Why would you hope it happens? Wouldn't you rather see Smith vs Benavidez? Why do you want to see an old Angulo get knocked out lol.

Smith-Benavidez is a pipe dream imo.
But man I felt bad for groves he had three limbs that night vs Smith! Smoke & mirror Smith!

I'm leaning Molina and I'm a far bigger fan. The only reason why is because I think Molina is sturdier, I doubt Josesito could last as long as Molina did against Crawford, and he probably wouldn't go the distance against Figueroa. It's going to be a fire fight, they will trade bombs, and that not a fight Josesito wants to fight. As far as Rios goes, the Eggington fight might be abck on the table, but even there, I don't want to see that, even though it would be fun, Sam is too fresh for Brandon. Brandon vs. Soto Karass might be nice though.:D

Because Nieky was an undefeated tough as nails MMA guy with a really good chin. Smith's power is a tad bit overrated but.... if you're the slightest but glassy, you're going down. Angulo isn't glassy, and that's the problem, Callum would beat him skull in for 5 or 6 rounds until his corner pulls him out and end up putting him in the hospital It's a terrible idea.

Dude I completely missed the Figgy fight. I thought that the fight got canceled? I bet that fight was a barn burner. I still want to see Rios vs Ortiz, but as a Rios fanboy if he lost that would be absolutely devastating to me, and dude just looked so bad against Humberto that I actually probably would favor Ortiz. Eggington fight I wouldn't mind either, but I think Eggington could easily take bam bam's punches. The Karass fight is decent too, but honestly it's Ortiz or bust for me. Brandon really shouldn't be fighting anymore.

Smith is the real deal. I'm a huge Plant fan, I'm practically the only one here that picked him to beat Uzcategui, but **** no I don't want him to fight Smith. Smith is the #1 at SMW he would batter everyone. I want Plant to fight Benavidez, and since they're both in PBC, it'll probably happen and Smith will get left out.

Shockingly it wasn't. and I as well as many on the RBR thought John nicked it, he actually boxed fairly smart like he did against Ruslan, kept him behind the jab and nailed him with countless rights that were hard enough to stop a moose in its tracks, one thing I must admit about Omar, as much of a bum as he is, that mother****er has a chin on him. Even the shot that put him down against Ugas was a balance shot. As far as the Ortiz match, if he gets cleared of his rape charges, bring it on!

That Plant Benevidez street fight wish they had footage of that, that must of been Wild to see.
    I picked Plant > Uzcategui
too bro! I think Uzcategui is a level above anyone Smith has fought.

Shoot man, subway accountant Mike Lee beats one armed Groves imo
