Given the current dodging (for my money Jermaine Taylor is the worst)

Who should fight who? Here are some contenders:

    Joe Calzaghe
    Bernard Hopkins
    Chad Dawson
    Zsolt Erdei :-(
    Glen Johnson
    Mikkel Kessler
    Lucian Bute
    Carl Froch
    Jermaine Taylor
    Kelly Pavlik
    Arthur Abraham and Felix Sturm

    For me:

    Pavlik-Abraham (nobrainer)
    Dawson-Hopkins
    Kessler-Bute
    Taylor-Froch
    and Calzaghe-Johnson as Joe's swansong

    what say you?

    Great match ups you proposed.

The main fight we need to see is Abraham v Pavlik to see who is the supreme ruler of the 160lbs division.

Erdei is doing himself a disservice if you ask me. He is a talented fighter who could beat alot of the fighters at 175lbs if he fought them. Instead he is fighting Blevel fighters and is happy with it.

Not particularly interested in Calzaghe v Johnson. Calzaghe should retire, Dawson is the only semi-relevant fight he could take barring rematches.

The other four fights would be very enticing.

Pavlik/Abraham - To determine MW supremacy
Calzaghe/Dawson - To determine LHW supremacy
Taylor/Froch - To shut up Froch
Taylor/Kessler - The battle of US fans versus UK fans
Bute/Andrade 2 - This time, in a neutral setting with a competent referee

    Froch vs Pavlik
Calzaghe vs Bute - no brainer!
Erdei vs Hopkins - in Germany obviously!
    Kessler vs Johnson

Nobody else matters in that list.

I want to see Calzaghe vs. Bute and then Calzaghe vs. Froch, then retirement for Joe.
Abraham and Pavlik would be awesome.
    Dawson vs. Erdei.

    Pavlik-Abraham
Edrei-Hopkins (so BHOP can smash this fake lineal champ)
    Kessler-Bute
    Taylor-Froch
Calzaghe-Dawson or Erdei (JC still has not won a proper title at LHW and has not achieved his aim of two weight world champ)
Glen Johnson-Felix Sturm (I hate Strum for the same reasons I hate Erdei)

Jermain isn't dodging. He fought Kelly Pavlik in their rematch when people gave him no chance, and arguably won the fight. And then he fought Jeff Lacy. Those are 2 big punchers. It would have to be Calzaghe or Chad Dawson, but Calzaghe's retiring so he's not really ducking anyone, as much as he just wants to secure a safe last fight. Can't blame him really. Noone want's to lose a sendoff fight.
