I think that Carl Froch should fight Lucian Bute next. The reason that i say that is I don't think Kessler will fight anyone good. I like for him just to stick to 168lb fighters and not call out people like Pavlik and Abraham. After Bute, if he wins then Kessler.

All the guys at super middle are REALLY limited fights, either they don't have heart, or they're one dimensional, or they're easily outboxed, there's really nothing special at SMW right now, if Froch wants REAL recognition, he should call out Chad Dawson, and now, fresh off his knockout would be the best time to start calling Dawson out.

I'd like to see Froch against Andrade or Bika, I think there both reasonable opponents for his next defence. Froch and Bika would be a war!

Screw the mandatories. Fight Kessler. The guy hasn't fought since Calzaghe hung up his gloves.

What the hell is going on with Kessler anyway?

See about a hundred other threads on what is going on with Kessler.

Sum in one sentence: only person he's likely to be fighting anytime soon is Mogens Palle, in a courtroom.

He has huge promotional problems. He is in the middle of a lawsuit with his promoter that might see his career derailed the way Mads Larsen's was - Kessler might have to give up boxing for the next two years to escape his promoter's cluches. At best, he will fight his mandatory challenger Perdomo sometime in late summer. There is no way in hell he will fight Froch this year. If Froch doesn't fight his mandatories, he has to vacate the belt anyway.

What Kessler SHOULD have done was to get himself ranked with the IBF - Bute was the only beltholder after Kessler fought Calzaghe, and force Bute to face him as a mandatory challenger, because Bute refused to fight him in a voluntary defence. Instead, he tried to force a fight against Mundine for the WBA, but Mundine preferred to vacate rather than face Kessler, his mandatory. There was the Miranda fiasco next and then, the promotional troubles. In other words, the career of one of the best SMW's there's ever been is going down the drain, fast and the division is left without the man who should be wearing Calzaghe's crown.

Kessler, winner of the Miranda/Ward fight, or Dawson if he decides to move down to 168.

If It's a mandatory then he will fight the winner of the Miranda/Ward, both have a good chance at beating Froch. As a matter fact Froch is very similar to Miranda.

    You are kidder,eh!

There is no real competition for Froch at super middle ,eh!:patsch

There are a dozen of fighters at supermiddle who can give him hell and have a decent chance to beat him.
