I say David Lopez with the winner to get a shot at Pavlik:good Also a good opponent for Lorezo would be Amin Asikanen:bbb

Who cares? What has Lorenzo done to get another eliminator. The way he got handled by Marquez, it's pretty obvious that he's gatekeeper material, not champion material.

Oh, okay. It just seems that everybody on this forum takes Asikainen lightly because he's European or something.
Or is it because he hasn't fought an American opponent yet so in the USA nobody has even heard of him.

But who SHOULD Lorenzo fight next then?

    Feed him to a prospect.

One fight he might have a shot at winning would be against McGirt Jr., if you're his promoter and looking to get him back on the map. The loser of Rubio-Ornelas might also be a decent option.

Asikainen will fight Khoren Gevor for the vacant EBU middleweight title on November 28th. If he beats Gevor (which he definitely should) then he would be in line for a shot at a world title. He's currently number 4 in IBF rankings and number 7 in WBA rankings, so he could be challenging Abraham at some point or the winner of Sturm-Sylvester.

Yeah, he definitely shouldn't. But I doubt he will, he knows what the stakes are in this fight. If he loses he will retire, atleast that's the impression I got from all the interviews.

Why?How old is he?You know when a fighter talks retirement he is already half retired

Asikainen would make a big statement if he got rid of Gevor faster than Abraham did.

Yeah, he's born in 1976 but for some reason everybody in Finland has the impression that 32 in old for a boxer.

But if you look at his record he has already made one comeback after the second Sylvester-fight and boxing is still pretty small time business in Finland so his marketability would suffer hugely if he lost against Gevor.
