dont think for one minute that Eddie Hearn has more loyalty to Carl Froch as he does to the beloved ££££££££££££££

Froch is aging, who do you think would make matchroom more money, Froch at 36, or Groves at 25?

Do the math, Matchroom would be stupid not to move heaven and earth in trying to sign George Groves.

On a slightly different issue. Isnt Groves' missus a school teacher? Im guessing that would put way to any plans Goldenboy would have of signing him, unless of course they planned on keeping him fighting in the UK.

Hearn would definitely have sat up and listened to that crowd reaction on Saturday night - there's no way he would've seen that coming after how Groves was booed into the ring.

He'll be gagging to sign up Groves if he has any sense. The story behind Groves now will mean he has crossover appeal for the forseeable future.

I do worry for Groves though, being at such a crossroads in his career without Adam Booth there to guide him. So many sharks out there in boxing, as we all well know. He could do with someone who knows the game, and who he knows and trusts alongside him.

I think I either read or heard that she was a teaching assistant, which doesn't pay nearly as much. But I suppose what counts is if they're both prepared to up sticks and go over there.Wouldnt suit everybody,a lot to consider.Id like the lad to do well, and selfishly would like to watch him do it.The Sauerlands have took Dave Price on,and seem to have a link with Boxnation.Did George actually have a falling out with the main man there,or would that be out of the question?

Go to to America, stick it to Eddie the crook robbed George no way should he sign with them, trust me Matchroom will regret it in the long run, i mean Carl is pretty much finished while GG has like 7 or 8 years left in him.

Would be a smart move by Sauerland... No ties to a UK network and with BT and its considerable backing looking increasingly likely to get involved I think it would be a great move.

Just like Fast Car upturned the previous regime for the better, the same needs to happen again. Too many walkover fights glossed as part of the learning curve and peak fighters getting dead rubbers for a casual baiting highlight reel shot (prime example Quigg at the weekend)

I'd quite like to see him on Sky but also would quite like to him to tell fast car to F off.

Damn you Hearn and your Sky monopoly

Seriously the best situation for Groves is with Team Sauerland or Goldenboy. That would give him the freelance on working on channel 5, sky or even boxnation. This would also mean he could get the best money against the best fighters. surely that makes sense for a young hungry fighter

He also ripped on Sky for using DeGale and Woodhall for a role play before the fight.

I think he stays as a free agent for the timebeing.

I would say Goldenboy, as long as he goes to the USA and works directly with Shaeffer and De La Hoya. The guys running the so called UK division are amateurs e.g. Dean Baker- football agent come so called boxing manager. Clueless about the boxing game. What have they done apart from sign Agogo?

Sauderland might be a good option.
