Who should have won: Korobov or Charlo?

I did not have wide like 119-109 but Korobov deserved to win 115-113 ish.

I had it even through 12, but looking at the fight and if I had to absolutely pick a Winner I would have went with Korobov.

 

115-113 ish is good with me on what I saw,Korobov i can see if he was given another round.

 

Korobov by 3 rounds.

Commentary was worst I have ever heard in my life. PBC obviously hyping house fighters, and with it being on commercial TV they are trying to sway the casuals.

I’m British, I grew up with bad commentary! But this was more like propaganda!

on a side note, the American ref gave Korobov

Like no robberies in the UK. problem is they couldn't fill a bar in any third country.

 

I had Draw. 7-5 either way is ok depending on what your looking for. I had it 4-2 Korobov. Through first 6 and 4-2 Charlo through last six.

Close fight and quite frankly poor performance by Charlo. Korobov is 35 hasn’t fought in year and half and hasn’t fought quality opponents in forever. Had he not gassed a little he wins easy. As it is, many feel he won.
Charlo coming along at right time he may end up at top of heap with guys aging out but he DID NOT impress tonight

 

Both Charlo's angels got exposed today.

 

I watched this fight with the sound down, so I got a pretty good indicator of what happened, and I can see someone saying that Korobov did enough to win.

But I can also see someone saying that Charlo did enough to win. For me, I think that Korobov probably edged out enough rounds to deserve the decision. He fought a great fight and Jermall looked like he was hung over or something, but here is the kicker: Charlo was the one who seemed to REALLY REALLY want the belt. Like Wilder a few weeks ago. Charlo acted, Korobov REacted the whole fight, Charlo made the fight and I like to favor the boxer personally but 90% of judges give rounds to the guy making the fight, that was Charlo.

The 11-1 scorecard was obviously a joke, but no moreso that the 10-2 scorecard the other way offered up by one of our mods, so what are you going to do?

If you want to win a title in America, you have to try to rip it away from the beltholder. It is like Calzaghe - Hopkins, you watch it again, it was a great fight, Very similar to this one, Hopkins counterpunching was on point that night, but Calzaghe LOOKED like he wanted the rounds more, so he got them.

All in all, great fight, hopefully Charlo gives him a rematch. He sure learned a lot tonight.
