For me Otto Wallin, i think would be a good fight and if Hughie carn't beat him he will never be a world champ.
The World title scene is sewn up for a year or so he should just fight British and Euro level Build the wins up then look at world options Bang Dave Allen and Price out over the next 12 months Maybe target Del boy at that point who id imagine will be deteriorating
I gotta be honest, right now i wouldnt Unless Chisora were to gas out It wouldnt happen now though Del is for hire to the highest bidder and this makes no money right now
I would like to see him fight a Wahington, If he ran it would be Kabayel fight all over again. Chisora footwork to slow.
How about the winner of Dubois/Joyce ? However, he’s taken on some tough opponents already, so maybe a couple more ‘easier’ fights will build his confidence before he takes on the likes of Povetkin & Pulev again. He’s still young in heavyweight terms, so no need to rush things.
Allen and Price is wasting another year of his career - Pudding Chisora has been rotten for years and ripe for any genuine World Level Contender. Should he fail to overcome Pudding Chisora then his destiny is British Level maybe a soft vacant European Title chance.
Wallin, Kuzmin and Zhang are all possible winnable fights for Hughie that are against ranked opponents. Got a feeling Hearn will put Hughie vs Price on the AJ undercard.
Not heard anyone mention it, but Hughie a stone heavier (17 stone) last night than he was for Povetkin, and 20ib heavier than he was against Samuel Peter. I thought he looked much better with the extra timber on him. Peter is clearly trying to make him stronger although he didn’t look as elusive as he normally does but maybe that’s because he didn’t have much respect for the fella in front of him who was more than happy to hit that canvas. A Lartey or Cojanu would do as a next opponent to boost his confidence and grow into that bigger frame.
Someone along the likes of a Price, Wallin, Kuzmin, Jennings, Hammer... Hughie is young and the 3 losses have been at the top level, I think there's a lot more to come from him as he continues to grow into his frame + the additional weight seemed to favour him on the weekend.
