I think any will be fine, and I typed Arguello down…then I remembered all of your insights on Ezzard and thought a breakdown of Michael Spinks would be entertaining since I know how highly you think of Charles. I thought it might be interesting to see how you breakdown Spinks in contrast to Charles. But either way I am excited to see what you dig up.

I think Arguello would be a great choice. Unambiguously great fighter like you say, exciting to watch, loads of footage and in plenty of classic fights. You've done the SRL and Hearns threads (that I remember anyway) and they were great (did you do a Hagler thread too?) so Arguello just seems like a really good choice following those.

I've done the Fab 4, Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield, Larry Holmes, James Toney, Oleksandr Usyk and Ezzard Charles.

When I read them back, the gaps in quality in my writing has improved massively - if I do say so, myself.

Oh, and btw, Arguello was in the running. I've picked now, I won't disclose who, but the runners up were:

    Kid Gavilan
    Juan Manuel Marquez
    Alexis Arguello
    Michael Spinks

And two who I'm keen to do sometime in the relatively near future, are Chucho Castillo and Ismael Laguna.
