What opponent would allow for the most respectable payday, enjoyable fight, and challenge/accomplishment worthy for Marquez while making it competitive at a higher weight in his old age?

I never get tired of seeing Judah lose, so Judah

Marquez vs Valero for me would be a 2010 FOTY contender so being serious that is my choice

Humberto Soto to get his confidence back. Then Katsidis to become a pound for pound-relevant fighter again. then Valero to seal his date with Boxing Greatness.

Or he could fight Maidana and try his mettle against khan or bradley which is risky business for someone his size and age

Answer to your questions , Guzman , who wants to see Marquez beaten up by a younger prospect i.e. Valero , Khan , Bradley etc .

Guzman and Marquez are GBP why not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I say he should fight Valero. Valero has been compared to Manny Pacquiao. If that is the case, who better to test Edwin Valero than the man who many feel beat Pacquiao not once, but twice? Valero vs. Marquez, FOTY material right there.

Valero or Bradley. That would accelerate his comeback if he win on either one.

Hatton would be a big fight, very marketable and a decent retirement payoff for the loser, for those reasons I'd like to see that fight

As far as competitiveness I would like to see him in with Bradley, although Bradley just might retire him

I would also like to see a Valero fight, though I'm sure Arum would let Valero anywhere near him

    Sounds good.

Both looking sluggish in their last respective fights.

If Juan Manuel Marquez can't land a fight with Hatton - then a fight with Valero or Katsidis would be great.
