Who should Kessler fight?

Kessler has no business at 175. But he should clean out 168. Kessler v Bute or Kessler v Taylor would make a Big statement. Kessler needs to s*^t or get off the pot.

 

The Miranda fight Kessler turned down was the worst career move he could've ever made. That was an easy fight for Kessler. Instead of Abraham destroying Miranda and gaining some recognition in the States, that could've been Kessler. It would've been a good name to have on his resume and a good building block to get bigger fights in the future.

Instead, Kessler chooses to totally **** up his relationship with Showtime (possibly HBO too) and it seems Kessler will be satisfied picking up paper titles and defending them against bums in Denmark for the rest of his career. I hope I'm wrong, but I don't have any confidence at all in his promoters. They will run his career to the ground.

I hope he does end the Bute hype though...

Anyone that has a shot at becoming undisputed in their own division should not leave. Mundine left when he was suppose to face Kessler, Braehmer left because 168 was so packed that they thought LHW would be easier. Miranda left 160 after Miranda KOed him. So you stay unless you can't handle the heat.

Kessler can handle the heat and should at least try to see if he can become undisputed - before even considering leaving.

So - I would like him to fight one of these next:

Taylor Dangerous and difficult fight for both, but a good one for boxing fans.
Bute (I have a lot of respect ofr Bute and it would be a 50/50 fight I think - I know some don't)
Froch/Pascal winner
Hopkins at 168/170 (only because he is a legend. It will be a difficult fight for both, but I would like to see how both overcome it. Can Hopkins shut down a very textbook-perfect fighter like Kessler like he did Pavlik? Can Kessler overcome Bernard's counter-strategy? Kessler has sais that it would be an exciting challenge to take on Bernard)

 

Any one of the following: Inkin, Bute, Taylor, Bika, Froch, Pascal, Miranda, Abraham, Pavlik, Dawson or Tavoris Cloud.

Just get the guy fighting real opponents again please?

 

I like Taylor, but I'd like to see Kessler fight him. I think Kessler knocks him out by backing him up like Pavlik did. Taylor did what he needed to do against Lacy, but he still ate some right hands and he KNEW thats all Lacy was throwing.

 

Kessler make almost everybody look like bums, except God Calzaghe obv. But right now Kessler would beat Calzaghe.

Anyway, I dont think Kessler will fight Bute or Taylor next, Bute is fighting Larsen and Taylor will have another fight before stepping with a real top10.

Kessler will most likely fight the frenchman Jean-Paul Mendy, if you look at the wba top15 it's the only fight that make sense right now.

You put slugger like Bika and Miranda but no Andrade ?

It's unreal how this board think Bika is god but Andrade is crap, Bute beat Bika much easier than Berrio and a freaking galaxy easier than Andrade.

 

I like Kessler, but he turned down miranda, and that dissapointed me :---(

 

Kessler would lose a jabbing contest with Jermain Taylor, Bute would be a good boxing match but i'm sure that Kessler would win.
Kessler could never beat Dawson, he's not big or strong enough ... Dawson would just knock him out. Hopkins would be a great fight but I see Hopkins out boxing him. Kelly Pavlik would knock him out.
