Who should Kessler fight ?

I would like to see him against Danny Boy Green - The Viking Warrior against the Green Machine.

 

He should fight Bute, get ranked by the IBF and force a match.

 

Bika 1st, and the Bute

 

since kessler is a bum as is often said on esb winky wright/bernard hopkins/tarver/lacy/ could all do with an easy workout v him.

off course they will not ask or want a fight with him in reality.

kessler should be in the mix for a belt if they fragment and if they do not then he should go after mundine or bute with a possible taylor or pavlik fight to follow.

 

I think Kessler would be very clinical against Bika.

Mikkel doesn't need a soft, confidence boosting fight. He's got the right attitude to bounce back from the Calzaghe loss.

It's a gimmee win for Kessler but if he could do what Bute couldn't do and stop him, that will put pressure on Bute.

 

I know that about the Kessler-Mundine-Green rationality... It ain't about proving anything, just that both have this aura and, as long as it would last, it would be real hardcore, fetish stuff but Danny Green has to beat Drews and it would have to happen at 175.

I'd love to see that fight because it would probably be held in Germany and thus be broadcasted. Do you think that's a fight Kessler should take or should he wait if an American top fighter is willing to fight him?

I know the WBO title is garbage but who cares?

Brähmer was found NOT guilty today.
He's supposed to fight on Feb 23 in Hamburg (Northern Germany, not far away from Denmark).

 

Kessler - Häussler

Ouch! Poor Danilo. He'd better fight against Froch: Froch would knock him out in the early rounds whereas Kessler would play with him like a cat with a mouse. Kessler by TKO in the middle rounds.

 

I hear rumors of Taylor vs Calzaghe....Why not Pavlik-Kessler?

 

I favor Pavlik, in the rematch as well (But won't be shocked either way). Calzaghe does not need to fight Taylor...if Taylor wins it is him who needs the fight more than Joe. I don't know why Pavlik would be interested in Kessler (I just threw the comparisson out there)...Why the JT talk when Pavlik is champ and probably will remain...But pavlik has the fortune (and misfortune) of a weak MW class (muuch like Hopkins and even Hagler)...unfortunately SMW does not look a whole lot stronger??? the choice is his he holds 2 belts (with direct linege to 4) and is regarded as THE MW champ...why not conquer bigger fields?

 

I think that Kesslers camp is targeting the american market... So fighters like Lacy, Bika and Winky is the "usual suspects" at the moment. A kessler fight against any of the above on the undercard of a Hopkins - Calzaghe fight would be sweet!

 

No one has mentioned Miranda - it doesn't get him closer to winning a belt, but it's a "name" and he might just be nuts enough to take the fight. Maybe an option if he truly does have trouble finding opponents.

 

Mikkel should fight Sakio or Lacy or, ideally, Winky, on the undercard of Joe v. Bhops...as Maden suggested, if he doesn't get a shot at a vacant title.
