who ever he chooses to fight next needs to be a name or he is going to get a grilling off boxing fans.
personally i think the question, rather should be, what does kessler do, to get a fight, with the more established american names..? look at joe c, the only reason he is getting those fights, was because he beat kessler, that opened up some bigger opportunities.. but those arent really available to mikkel.. he only has a shot at those guys, IF THEY CHOOSE HIM.. HE DOESNT HAVE THE POWER OF CHOICE RIGHT NOW..
If it's not Hopkins, Taylor or Dawson I'll be soo dissappointed I will start pushing for the Mads larsen fight!!!:spy
I'd like him to stay at 168 for now and make a good name for himself in America by dismantling a guy like Miranda on something like " Boxing After Dark " !
bute dirrell kessler JT froch inkin andrade possibly (hopkins AA calzaghe)miranda mundine green lacy Bika..not to bad IMO
his team needs to get after it and get it done...he is a big name and will be a big money fight...he should fight miranda on HBO then taylor or bute
wasnt he dismanteld by both abraham and pavlik! how can it still be a a- fight to square of with miranda??
you have made lists like this a few times about the supermiddle division. mcallum never fought for a 168 belt ever, cannot ever remember him competiting in the division at all. toney fought in the division for 1 or 2 years max benn /eubanks/collins/ fair enough. johnson never beat a fighter in the top 100 that i can remember at 168, only title fight i remember him in was when he was outboxed and frustrated by ottke. nunn beat a few fighters , i remember crawford ashley and then lost to steve little who in turn was ko`d by toney. jones beat toney around 94 and moved up to light heavy about a year later. except for benn and eubank i doubt the others spent more than 10% of there careers at 168
