I think Frank Warren intends to keep K.M active.

I think he should move up to world level now. No point hanging around at domestic level when he's past it. Although being honest, I wouldn't be disappointed if a fight with John Murray came up.

berrara, casamayor, david diaz or juan diaz(all 4 are on the slide but i reckon berrara wouldnt fancy getting jonbbed in a british ring again) beating casa could really put him up there

id hate to see Murray - Mitchell not for the spectacule but for the respective careers the loser would probably never go on to get a world title shot and that would be a massive injustice to both fighters,, i like the idea of mitchell fighting a top ten fighter the katsidis,, any pointless warm up fight would derail motivation fighters like mitchell need a challenge to bring out the best ,, and murray needs to escape the domestic scene before again demotivation sees him lose

From a spectators point of view Mitchel vs Murray would be great. I just feel the respective promoters will not allow it to happen.

Katsidis sounds like it could happen next summer for the interim title. As the proposed match with Marquez has been put off as WBO have made him 'super champion' and given him an extention before he has to face his mandatory.

I would have thought the next opponent will be someone pretty ordinary who Mitchel can look sensational against on TV. To show the other side to his game as opposed to the smart way he fought against Prescott. To build on the coverage he gained from that fight and build toward world title shot with Katsidis.

Mitchell vs Murray would be great. Both dangerous and mighty prospects who need to push on with their careers if they intend to be world champions. At this stage of both mens career they could do with a huge domestic battle to gain public interest and to put them in the title frame. The winner could get in a position for an eliminator.

I think the other domestic opponents named are really a step back for both now and the better names on the list are a step too far.

Who he should fight is Murray IMO.

However, due to the fighters that have been approached (domestic operators - Limond and Arthur) I think that it will be Lee McAllister.

Katsidis is the right fight for Kevin it will put him firmly in line for a title shot.
fighting Murray at this time is a stand still fight for both boxers & will not advance either let both make their own way & should they meet later make it if one or both have world titles
