I beleive i could yes,i train Ricky who imo has the best defence by far in the UK,theres great sparring in the gym Ricky and Bradley Saunders,Theres only minor adjustments to be made to Amir who is a very very talented man
You would be a good choice in all honesty Billy, Ricky's come on leaps and bounds over the last few years, his defence being one of his main quality's, I think being around a humble guy like Ricky may also do Khan's ego a world of good, if not Im sure you would bring him down a peg or two.
I'm not sure Billy would be the right fit, technically and tactically yes but I'm not sure Amir could cope with being in a down to earth gym. Didn't really work at Oliver's, did it? Plus Burns will be top dog as Billy's first (to my mind) world champion. Sparring would be good though, a ready made partner pretty much the same size who can show up some of his current weaknesses without belting him into next week. Not sure Billy and Saj would get on though....
is that the same John that works with you Billy he's a nice man spoke to him at Scottish Finals one year he's worked with some good boys in the past josh taylor john thain and loads more with the Scotland Team :bbb
Totally agree Beeston. In the ring its a good but aesthetically unusual match. Outside the ring Khan's maybe too much of a Big Time Charlie for Billy's gym. I could be totally wrong of course!
Yes mate same john.hes helping Craig out whilst scholls areoff then he will bring him through to my gym to train and spar before his next fight, thats the plan
Johns a good guy and is learning every day in the gym,its only fair he continues to train Craig when johns kids go back to school and Craigs also go the option of training in Edinburgh when not sparring in mine, works out well for both Craig and John
