Who should Lomachenko fight next ?

Kambosos is going to duck Loma to fight Haney.. Kambosos aint stupid. Loma is levels above Haney

 

Not sure what makes sense if he cant get Davis, Garcia, Haney, Teofimo II, or Kambosos. And there is too obvious a path of none of those happening. Hopefully he faces one of them next but Id wager a fiver that doesnt happen.

 

Kambosos and I don't care about the rest.

 

Kambosos is the only choice. If he wusses out and decides to fight the easier opponent Haney, that tells fans all they need to know about him as a fighter.

Loma doesn’t have many good options at LW if Kambosos refuses a fight. He can call out Tank again but Tank doesn’t have the balls to fight him. Teo is at 140 so he’s out. Stevenson is at 130 and would need to step up if he wants it.

He needs to make a push for the Kambosos fight. Fight Haney in his first defense if he wins. If Kambosos beats Haney, he needs to fight Loma next. If he chooses a soft unknown and continues to duck Loma, it would be bad for boxing. I hate champs who hold belts hostage.

 

Loma should fight Davis, Diaz or Fortuna. Kambosos will fight Haney as he should. It's funny how the people who were clamouring for undisputed at HW don't have that same energy at LW because their darling hero (Loma) isn't in the title picture. Y'all aren't fans of boxing - just mere fanboys.

 

You call yourself a fan but want to see Diaz or Fortuna fight Loma? Diaz was a disgrace of an opponent and would lose fl both of the guys Loma just beat. Tank has no balls and would avoid Loma as he has been doing for years. Kambosos said he’d fight the guy who looked best in his last fight. Jojo gave Haney all he could handle and I’m not even sure Tanl beat tiny 23 year old Cruz. Loma looked best in his last fight but suddenly Kambosos can’t find his balls.

This is an obvious duck by Kambosos if he fights anyone but Loma. Also, Loma is the only one who would fight anyone if he won the belts. No drama, no BS, he would give Haney a shot in the next fight after winning. If you like boxing, this is the guy you should want to see in that position. Davis and Haney would hold the belts hostage and try to wait until Loma was too old to fight. Loma deserves a shot more than either of those guys but Kambosos is playing games because he knows he would lose. He’s picking the easiest opponent if he fights Haney. He talks a good game but in the end might be no better than the typical cherry picking suckers who are ruining the sport.

 

All this would have been avoided if Loma held on to his titles by beating Lopez (who was just exposed) so that he (& the fanboys) wouldn't be in this dilemma about who Kambosos should fight next. Loma will have to wait his turn & demand a fight with the winner, while in the mean time, fight some decent contenders to stay active & get some paydays for easy money. That's why I mentioned Fortuna & Diaz - easy money. Davis would be a great payday too, but TMT will not let him go anywhere near Loma. So that's the best solution for Loma unless Kambosos chooses to fight him next (which at the moment makes no sense).

 

Loma just fought two guys better than anyone Haney has faced in his career and destroyed them. He fought Lopez with a shoulder than needed surgery and has been dominant with two arms since. He paid his dues and deserves the fight as much as Haney who beat a JLW who was never a legit 135 pound fighter in his last fight. Loma is the only guy who would fight all these guys at LW right after beating Kambosos. Everyone else has lots of drama and would duck him as they are doing now. Why would a boxing fan not want to see Loma in the mix? He’s the only one who would not hold the belts hostage.

What has Haney done at LW to make his case as most deserving? Loma was more dominant in his last two fights over better opposition than Haney. If Haney beats George there is no guarantee he’s not going to drop the belts and move to 140 because he’s growing out of LW. Jojo Diaz will probably move down because he’s not a real LW. Beating him did nothing for Haney and he barely beat him.

 

You make some good points, but I still stand on that if only Loma was able to beat Lopez, he wouldn't be on the outside looking in. He might have been undisputed right now. It's all up to Kambosos to decide what he wants to do. He will pick which ever fight between Haney or Loma is more lucrative for him. Loma better hope it's him. If not, then it sucks for him.

The most obvious opponent would be Kambosos. That is the fight to make, and everyone knows it.
