Dirrell - needs tune-up first, agreed very good fight
Abraham - moving back down to 160, press release 2 months ago
Pavlik - needs tune-up first, agreed very good fight
    Braehmer - LHW only
    Shumenov - LHW only
Oosthuizen - not rated top 15 by IBF
Groves - interest for a DeGale rematch, would be curious to see if he actually would like to fight Bute...

You're just being silly with Kashtanov and Sukhotsky. Not rated, and not anywhere close to being talked about at world level.

    ...next?

Now just hold on a minute.I'm not saying it's the guy who posted this, but Froch only schooled Abraham because he was too small at SM according to many Bute militants. Was it a credible win or not?

it was if you don't rate aa as a world class smw fighter.it's a decent win on his resume but not one to put on your wall when you're old.a kessler win would have worth 10 times more, even with an injured kessler.

So it was only a credible win if you DON't rate Abraham as a world class SMW?

Pascal or Dirrell ........ why hasn't he already fought Pascal anyway?

Not sure about Canada, but in the UK and most other places fighters tend to fight each other to see who's best ...

I mean Froch already fought Pascal so why the **** doesn't Bute fight him ........ you'd think his fans would demand that fight seeing as Ward/Froch are tied-up atm, and have the possibility of a re-match too depending on how it goes!

Man the **** up Canada and let the best fight the best!

    Where is the problem ???

Ward or Froch in April or May.

    That's it.

Bute fought in November and the final of the S6
    is in december....

April or May will be fine.

Kessler is not availablwe before the beginning of the Summer anyway

Dirrell don't need no tune up, hes as available as anyone can be. the only reason why hes not fighting is that no one wants to pay/see him after he bitched out of the S6. remember his trainer on fightcamp360, Dirrells a price fighter not pride fighter
Abraham ain't going to make the weight anyway, he was crying about making weight when he fought Ward at 168, he trainer wants him to move up to 175
Braehmer is a natural SMW, he just move up to get a title shot has no problems making 168, hes smaller than Bute, walks around with less weight.
Sukhotsky, same as Braehmer basically, of course hes in the title picture i believe hes Cleverlys wbo mandatory, he nearly stopped Braehmer, destroyed Mohammedi who gave Cleverly all he could handle etc. good fighter.
Kashtanov is a very big smw and hes strong, decent skillset, trained by Roach, always in excellent condition, just lost a razor close fight to Balzsay but hes definitely a reasonable opponent and a different caliber than the likes of Magee
Oosthuizen won't have any problems to enter the IBF #15, interbox can pull St Juste out etc whatever if they want to fight him, no problem.
Shumenov at LWH would be a good fight too
You can exclude 20 more fighters making excuses about how Bute wants to fight someone who has blue eyes and blond hairs next so he can't fight Dirrell and bull**** like that but the truth is there are many good fights that could be easily made, even if its not Ward, Froch, Kessler for some reason.

of course it was a big/credible win

    :deal

He should fight Ward, Froch or Kessler. If that means stay put for the time being so be it.

No more clubfighters. It's time to step up.

Tommy Oosthuizen might be a good one. George Groves would be interesting. I wouldn't completely rule out the Froch/Ward winner. Not the best fighter in the world, but someone like Dyah Davis could even be interesting.

Just because someone isnt ranked in the IBF top 15, it shouldn't matter much. Guys mysteriously appear in the rankings all the time as soon as the champ wants to fight that person.
