i think malik scott was a disgrace and the fight should ghave been a 4th rd ko (the ref even helped malik get up ??wtf ? when douglas went down against tyson did teh ref help douglas up ? when bowe got knocked down by holyfield did the ref help bowe to his feet ? nope ?wtf ...ortiz deserves a bit of an easy fight and sumbody who comes to him ...i think edmond gerber(whos ranked #8 by the wbo) would be perfect 28 days right after malik scott...

    discuss ?

Molina with his WBC ranking would have been good.

David Haye's opponent is yet to be confirmed for Dec 10. Would love Haye/Ortiz, while Haye no longer has the movement that would trouble Ortiz but he does have the speed to beat Ortiz to the punch and Haye can KO anyone he can land cleanly on.

Yep, it's a pity and I think Duhaupas has Takam lined up.

Personally, I thought Briggs might have been good for that date, sort of just for the sake of it ... but he's out.

I'm keen on seeing an AJ/Parker unification at some stage so would rather see Ortiz going down the WBC or WBA path. I suspect Wilder is going to try to dodge Povetkin (if he wins in Dec.) and try to cash out (or perhaps do better) with a unification bout in early-ish 2017 if he can. That leaves Ortiz with someone in the the WBA mess ???? unless he just wants to get a win on the board against a modest name opponent and try to relegate the Malik Scott fight out of people's minds.

Well its close to X Mas then ,so the general rule of thumb is to fest in the Holidays which would be Peter Fury in a non record exhibition match since Peter has put on some weight and is now sporting a father Christmas beard .

That would show us where his power is really at. Dave has the best chin in HW division right now.

Takham would be perfect. Slugfest between two plodders. We all want to see it.

David Price. That's probably who it's going to be. Hearn want Ortiz in there with someone that will come straight at him. Price fit the bill.
