For I know, Darlene Custudio, who denied Manny last election, ends her term by 2010 and eyeing for governatorial seat. As a way of token, the people, politicians in gensan may pave their way for their hero. Manny is a sure congressmen as of today, he can even make it up to senate. National leaders is cravin for Manny, he is a crowd drawer and of course a special figure that can help push those small chance wannabes in the senate race.

thats what pinoy election bro. believe me.

i think he should fight the overall winner of jmm/cas/guzzy/campbell fight, preferrably jmm, to shut up the critics.

hoya at welter win or lose
hatton at light welter if he wins
then back down to lightweight for whichever fighter come up top dog in there following fight campbell, guzan, diaz or trilogy wid marquez

i would not say mayweather because the fight will be at welter and i feel i should only have to move up there ones for de la hoya

Hatton as his last fight. If Casamayor beats JMM, fight Casamayor next. If he doesn't, fight Juan Diaz next.

This is true, however, there is more money to be made with Hatton.

    My sentiments exactly.

If he shows poorly against DLH and gets blown out/KO'd then it's in his best interest to take a couple of cake walks and bow out on top with a record of 49-4.

On the other hand, if he manages to pull off what many have deemed IMPOSSIBLE and defeats The Golden Boy, then LOOK OUT-sky's the limit! The ideal and sensible game plan would be to take on Ricky Hatton in a high profile matchup that should be winnable for Pacquiao and will further serve to gain him additional exposure. Then immediately call Floyd Mayweather out of retirement. Pacquiao, off the heels of 2 career defining bouts would NO DOUBT be the biggest draw in boxing and "Money" Mayweather would have a hard time declining the type of $$$ that fight would ensure. The financial outcome of that fight would be extremely favorable to both parties and a loss at that point in time would be "relatively" meaningless. For Pacquiao, it's a fight that everybody always said he'd lose anyway. For Mayweather, how many fighters look great after 2+ years of inactivity? IF Pac wins, it's time to consider him for GOAT status (wins over Morales, Barrera, Marquez, DeLaHoya, Hatton & Mayweather). Same goes for Mayweather who could once again retire with his "0" intact.

lol! I thought as much. Considering how politics work in that little country of ours, I'm not really surprised. I don't agree with it though.

    Tnx for the info, mate.
