At the time, Pac v Marquez V was the biggest money-making fight Arum could have made involving Pac. Marquez had a much stronger position after his victory but Arum still wanted to treat him like he was Clottey. I don't blame Marquez for telling Arum and Pac to step off.

Do you even know the ppv history of Marquez and Pacquiao ? Big difference.

    Hypocrites ?:patsch

Can you compare JMM's ppv numbers to Pacquiao's ? Not even close.

Pacquiao matched former heavyweight champ Mike Tyson as the only fighter in pay-per-view history to generate at least 1 million buys for a fight in three consecutive years. HBO announced Tuesday that Pacquiao's one-sided battering of Antonio Margarito on Nov. 13 at Cowboys Stadium to win a vacant junior middleweight title -- his record-extending eighth -- generated at least 1.15 million buys and $64 million domestic pay-per-view revenue.

Maidana has come out of the Mayweather series with some name value and Marquez would adjust to him and have a counter punchers field day, if GBP and Top Rank can work something out.

Brook is the only man to fight if Marquez wants a belt at 147, which for the last couple years he has stated is his only desire... Floyd won their fight by 13 points and I don't see too much changing for Marquez in a rematch while the idea of Pacquiao V has been shot down by Marquez multiple times. So, Brook is the only real option if he is gunning for the belt and looking to get it ASAP.
