Who should Mayorga fight next?

    A chump or not, you have to give it to the guy for being freakin' entertaining. I would like to see him fight Mayweather next. I know it will never happen and who will win and all that. But this is Ricardo F****N Mayorga, win or loose, you will be watching from first press conference till post press conference. I think having the two mouths go at it will be hilarious. Him fighting Hopkins will be cool to, just for the entertainment. Who would you like him to fight?

    If he's staying at Light Middleweight then I have no idea but if he moves down to Welter then he has a lot of good options, he doesn't need to fight the top fighters in that division but a fight with Cintron will be entertaining, maybe even a fight with Margarito.

    It would be cool if he went down to welter but I can't see it with his cigarette smoking and beer drinking. Who knows? Maybe that's an image thing, but yeah, I can see him beating Williams, believe it or not. Margarito for sure. People might think me crazy for the Williams quote but Mayorga has such a shock and awe method of attack you have to have a DLH/Trinidad left (check,ha ha) hook to put the guy back in place otherwise he could do a lot of damage as you never know where the punches are coming from if you are used to real boxers. I don't think he's a real boxer but I think he can **** up real boxers. Either way, it'd be nice to see him in the spotlight again.

    I just can't see him beating Williams to be honest, that fight would be hell for Mayorga and way too difficult, he might even get knocked out. A fight with Cintron shouldn't be too bad for him, don't think he'll win that either but he has a good chance, Margarito would knock him out too.

    I hope Margarito would get a tune up against Mayorga cuz he'd look like superman while beating mayo's ass from pillar to post. The Tijuana tornado would blow mayorga away and retire him.

    Margarito KO Mayorga brutality.

    Mayorga/ Margarito would be a great "chingazos" fight but I would see it as competitive. I would want either fighter to win, but my money goes on Mayorga on overwhelming power shots. Of course, it depends on weight. Somewhere between 147 and 154 would be idea, catch weight. Let's contact our guys and make this fight happen!:deal

    mayorga has been saying hes moving back down to welter for a long time now... i think he has to go with margarito... but had losses then came back with good wins an gets back in the spot light also a bout with cotto would be good... an also now that i think about zab would be a good one... but i can see mayorga KO'ng PW ... also if you think about it cotto vs margo or mayorga would be good fights because cotto always gets hit with uppercuts an thats the best punches those 2 throw so itd be good to see how cotto deals with that

    i dont see it like he has options.... any serious fighter is not going to want to fight them because fighting a wild ass mayorga is a step back

    gatti is done. hatton is too small and cotto would dismantle mayorga, that is if he comes down to 147.
