There are many options for PBF in a dress rehersal for a potential bout with Pacquiao.

Who do you guys think it should be?

Berto. He can pick up a title, plus berto presents some of the same challenges as Pacman. Come forward agressive style with fast hands.

I'm thinking about Collazo (if he gets past Berto) ... they're going to make Floyd the automatic mandatory challenger since he didn't lose his belt, he retired.

Berto is not a tune up fight, he is a challange, fast hands and very stron, Floyd should fight someone like Quintina, after all Quintana faced and beat the man everyone is hiding from so he deserves another shot at a big name.

Collazo/Berto winner or Cotto really. Either way he should be able to pick up a belt.

Cotto's not a tune up fighter, but in the sense of a superstar like PBF ... anyone on the championship level would be a credible opponent for him.

A comeback fight for Floyd would be a big event but it wouldn't be the big picture --

PBF v Cotto mid summer 09 on PPV

then the Mega fight in Dec ... PBF v PacMan Pacquiao

quintana id say but quintana is someone you cant sleep on i dont care how good you are cotto is not a tune up seeing as how he has a good shot at beating mayweather and i dont think that sergio martiniez would be a good idea at all for him to fight

It would have to be someone who could produce PPV numbers and who has experience on the championship level. I can't see Floyd coming back to fight on WOrld CHampionship Boxing ... for short money.

It would have to be an event ...

    1. Collazo (just because he could possibly be the WBC champion and he's a southpaw)
    2. Cotto (because it would be a huge event and Cotto's a closet southpaw)
    3. Quintana (veteran southpaw)

Just to counter what you said ... Floyd is the champion emeritus at 154 and would be the mandatory challenger for any champion who holds any version of that WBC strap. Floyd could beat Martinez as well.
