I believe Vernon Forrest at 154 pounds the **** outta Floyd. Maybe even knocks him out. Physically too big and strong for him. Pretty fast too. At 147 only 2 guys are worthy. Shane and Cotto. I would prefer Cotto though.
What is this **** with "drawing power" Who gives a ****!? Its people that think like that that get fights like Jones-Trinidad made. I want to see the best against the best not the most popular vs the popular. Seriously i know its about money but how greedy is Mayweather. A cotto fight while it wouldnt get him 20 mil like fighting Oscar im sure would get him above 10. Didnt he get 11 for fighting Hatton. This would also be 10 times better than the Hatton fight. It would actually be competitive.

    1. Cotto .....................the most important fight; the primus inter pares of fights in boxing.

    2. Williams...................a young top contender that presents a huge challenge.
    3. De la Hoya................the superstar again; he looked formidable last year; it was a SD.
    4. Spinks (at 154)...........I think Spinks is the top at 154, so fighting him would be logical.
    5. Mosley......................one of the best fighters of the last few years; although 36 years old and coming off a loss.

    6. Forrest (at 154)..........another challenge at 154; but he is like 37 years old.
    7. Margarito....................a good challenge, and there is some kind of rivalry, but Margarito is not top level, so I don't know.
    8. Cintron..................??? He's just a fringe contender that beat Mark Suarez.

Paul Williams is an intriguing opponent and a good challenge for Mayweather, if he is looking for one.

even though i know it wont happen this way i think pbf should fight williams next and cotto should fight dela next . if pbf & cotto both come out the victors of those fights then a pbf cotto fight will definatly be the fight to break the box office.
