Thing is, the whole "who should he spar" thing is over-egged. Mosley doesn't need to start franticaly looking for someone who boxes like Floyd - that's not how it works. What Mosley needs to do is spar very fast fighters who are elusive. Mobile lightweights, basically. He needs to work on cornering these fighers with footwork and jabs and then he needs to get his punches and timing together on an upstairs-downstairs basis.
mosley should spar with sergio martinez, malignaggi, WW, spinks, maybe even jones. mayweather should spar with judah and cotto?
Floyd: Collazo, Bradley, Mora, Cintron, Malignaggi, Berto. Now personally outside of perhaps Collazo and Malignaggi this wouldn't happen because the remaining guys are potential future opponents. Mosley: Collazo, Bradley, Mora, Malignaggi, Amir Khan. Essentially the same list, Malignaggi is mroe crucial here than with Mayweather because Malignaggi is a poor man's Floyd Mayweather.
Floyd should spar: Cotto, Cintron, Berto (probably wont spare any besause of future mach-ups ect) Mosley should spar: Malignaggi, Kell Brook? Collazo, Mora
I was thinking about them but for Cotto it's impossible being too proud and Arum fighter. Cintron who knows it's not impossible he is a boxer puncher those days.
Berto is in Haiti for a Carma Foundation relief effort and he probably won't get back till late Spring or so...(you can hold your applause) but yeah I think: Floyd- Omar Henry Shane- ....maybe Tim Bradley, Malignaggi? i guess
